i have not been blessed with the ability to carry a tune or break it down, but that does not stop me.

I recently returned to the States from living in Australia for a few months. I was able to serve with a mission organization there and dream and seek God’s plan for my life. Now I am pursuing my dreams and designing fulltime. It’s been quite the adventure this past year to say the least. I am technically homeless…well that sounds sketch. Let me rephrase, I am currently deciding where I want to move next. For now, it’s guests rooms of family and friends. We’ll see which city has the best to offer. haha.

Life is most def a journey and I am having the time of my life.

{Why Peacocks}

So… in case you didn’t know I have a small obsession with peacocks. Well, not necessarily the birds themselves, but more the colors and the feathers. They’re, well, just cool and I like them. I have a important childhood memory associated with peacocks and now this flightless bird serves as a personal reminder- hence “Peacock Manor.” If you see any peacock design item, think of me.

I can remember when my sister liked penguins in middle school and she ended up with ALL penguin gifts for Christmas- penguin slippers, penguin pjs, stuffed animal penguins, penguin books… I’m not encouraging that with my interest in peacocks because now Justina isn’t the biggest fan of penguins and that’s sad. Everything in moderation… well besides dark chocolate, green tea and dresses.
